I release a handful of miniature paintings on the 1st of each month. They’re small, slow, traditional, and in no particular hurry to explain themselves. They also tend to sell out, which is very flattering and mildly stressful.

If you subscribe, you’ll get a weekly note from the studio. Nothing promotional, nothing “growth-hacking,” just the ongoing chaos of making art and being a person at the same time. Some weeks it’s essays about process, other weeks it’s field notes, strange weather, or whatever modern absurdity has wandered into the paint water.

This is not a newsletter about illness or self-optimization or how to win at life. Think of it more like dispatches from a small battlefield where colour, attention, and irrational hope square up against the general nonsense of the world.
